Provide one fact which you have learned about Dreamweaver during the DW unit. (example: The main div we place our information in is called the "container")
One thing i learned in the DW unit is that there are little divs through out the page besides the container where our information goes, and rules that control what we do in that div.
I learned how to make a new rule and the difference between a compound rule and a class rule. A class can be used on as many divs as I need but a compound can only be used once.
In the Dreamweaver unit, I learned there are different types of "Div's", or box's, that make up a page, and that you can draw some with your mouse, or use a created one, but you can only use on for something, and the other for the rest.
One fact that I have learned about Dreamweaver is that you can create something called a class and you can then apply it to all divs, besides the container.
One fact I learned about Dreamweaver is that when creating the container, you have to "insert" an AP div, rather than drawing it, which is what you do for all the other divs.
I learned that, in Dreamweaver, one can create a website by designing in on split view rather than writing the code. This makes it much easier, at least for me, to create a website.
One fact that I learned about Dreamweaver during our Dreamweaver unit is that when you create the container you need to "insert AP div". However, for all other divs you choose "draw AP div".
I learned that dreamweaver is a program that does the coding for you. In dreamweaver, you don't have to manually type in the codes and tags, it is automatically done for you.
One fact about Dreamweaver that I have learned during this unit is that when you want to make a container, you insert a div, and when you want to make any other div, you need to draw them.
You can click on the "Preview/debug in browser" (the earth icon located on the top of the screen) in order to view your web page in either Safari or Firefox.
The position of all other divs, other than the container, are absolute.
